We love to showcase our region and its iconic style of cool climate wine.

The MMW vineyard itself is such an interesting site at nearly 700m above sea level and growing in volcanic soil, which adds welcome earthy complexity to the profile of our wines.

Our vineyard stretches across just over 6 acres of the property from which we produce 3 different varieties: chardonnay, pinot noir and sparkling.

Since we took over the property, each vintage has been an evolution, today we manage everything ourselves, hand pruning and hand harvesting with minimal interference. We believe this process is what connects us to the land and gives us an intimate understanding of the wine.

We source fruit from a few select growers in the Macedon Ranges to produce our regional wine range, which includes a rose, pinot noir, cabernet merlot and pinot gris. We offer a diverse list that both wine buffs and casual enthusiasts can enjoy and are constantly evolving our wine list.

Be sure to come visit and try out latest releases!

A visit to the beautiful Macedon Ranges is not complete without a wine tasting and antipasto board at Mount Macedon Winery.

Choose the wines that you want to try and we will line up a tasting flight for you to explore at your own pace.

Of course, our cellar door team are always on hand to recommend or engage in the finer details of tasting notes, pairings and winemaking techniques.

Indulge in cheese, fresh local produce and good company as you soak up the incredible view of

our farm and the beautiful Victorian countryside.

Our cellar door is open Thursdays through to Sunday between 11.30am and 4.30pm.

Please note our cellar door may be closed to the public in the event of weddings and private functions which are held at various times throughout the year. Please be sure to call us on 03 5427 4172 prior to the day of your visit to make a reservation or to ensure the MMW grounds are open!
